About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support a K–12 school district in an itinerant role across multiple school sites. The ideal candidate will provide psychological services, conduct assessments, and support students with special education needs in a collaborative and student-focused environment.

Requirements

• Active Maryland School Psychologist license (must be in hand)
• Degree in School Psychology or related field
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessments
• Experience with IEPs and special education compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations

Nice To Haves

• Ed.S., Psy.S., or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience in K–12 school settings

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Interpret assessment results and assist with eligibility determinations
• Support development and implementation of IEPs
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (SLPs, OT/PT, special educators)
• Assist with behavior intervention strategies and academic supports
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional development
• Travel between multiple school sites as required
