About The Position

School Psychologist - Contract Location: Anoka, MN Job Description Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help students overcome behavioral and psychological problems Assess and evaluate students’ learning abilities, emotional well-being, and social skills Provide direct and indirect psychological services to prekindergarten through grade 12 students who are at risk of social and academic failure Serve as a technical assistant for the support of implementation of RTI in the assigned schools (if applicable) Collaborate with the school’s Special Education team

Requirements

Must have a PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license
Candidates eligible for a PELSB Tier 2 license are also considered, provided they are enrolled in a teacher preparation program or have a Master’s degree in the content area.
Experience working in schools or with children.
A Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited university.
