About The Position

In this role, you’ll be the bridge between data and compassion—using assessments, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to understand each student’s unique needs. You’ll design and implement strategies that build resilience, confidence, and engagement, while supporting educators and families in fostering a positive school climate.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold a master’s degree or higher in School or Educational Psychology, along with a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in School Psychology.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Consult with teachers and families to promote positive learning and mental health outcomes.
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop effective plans and ensure appropriate student support.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote inclusion, wellness, and safe learning environments.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results to inform instruction and intervention.
