About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a school psychologist/ licensed psychologist to provide psychological services for a school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will work closely with the school administration to provide psychological services to eligible students for special education services, in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.
Requirements
- Minimum master’s -level clinicians
- Licensed to work in NM
- School Psychologist a PED license is required
Responsibilities
- Design and implement evaluations, including teacher consultation services that meet each student’s IEP -identified needs, in compliance with state and federal regulations and professional ethics.
- Comply with current documentation standards and Special Education Services policies and procedures.
- Provide progress reports on the evaluation of student(s), Medicaid documentation, or other evaluation reports as may be appropriate or required for each student.
- Participate, as needed in Evaluation Determination Team (EDT) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) Committee meetings for evaluation and/or consultation on specific students.
- Consult with administrative personnel, parents and/or school staff to address the needs of specific students or classrooms
- Any other duties as assigned.
