Working under the guidance of a certified School Psychologist, the School Psychologist Intern provides specialized expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of students. Reporting to the Director of Student Services and Building Principal, the School Psychologist Intern conducts comprehensive evaluations, collaborates with educational teams, and helps design evidence-based strategies to improve student outcomes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with special education requirements, advancing mental health services, and fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments. Responsibilities include analyzing Tier II and Tier III academic and behavioral data, leading Child Study meetings, actively participating in student-centered problem-solving discussions, and guiding multidisciplinary evaluation teams through the special education evaluation process. Following the completion of this internship, this internship may lead to full-time employment, starting the 2027-28 school year.
