About The Position

To work cooperatively with support service personnel on case study evaluations and to be a consultant in multi-disciplinary, IEP and parent/teacher conferences.

Requirements

  • Illinois Type 73 Certification; School Psychology endorsement
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with students, parents, other professionals

Responsibilities

  • Attend regular building special services meetings.
  • Participate in annual reviews for special education students.
  • Conduct building in-service workshops for staff and parents.
  • Participate in district in-service workshops.
  • Serve on district professional organization committees.
  • Attend professional meetings to update requirements.
  • Provide supervision for school psychology interns.
  • Offer individual and small counseling services.
  • Participate in RtI/Problem Solving meetings as appropriate
  • Participate in R & I/Problem Solving Meetings as appropriate.
  • Complete and maintain appropriate forms, records and reports.
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
