About The Position
The School Programs Manager leads the science center’s partnerships with schools throughout Northeast Ohio. They provide direction, guidance and oversight for GLSC partnerships with school districts and programs for K-12 students including hands-on workshops and big science shows. This position is responsible for all aspects of school programs including development and quality control of workshop curriculum, training and supervision of staff who deliver programs, tracking of program participation metrics, managing program materials, conducting program evaluation and reporting on grant funded initiatives. This role works closely with the Box Office staff and Education Operations Team to meet the curricular needs of school partners aligned with expectations of internal and external stakeholders including content partners like NASA Glenn Research Center.
