About The Position

The Manager position leads and oversees district programs, projects, or operational services that support the strategic priorities of Colorado Springs School District 11. This role is responsible for managing program implementation, supervising staff or project teams, ensuring operational effectiveness, and maintaining compliance with district policies and applicable regulations. The Manager collaborates with district departments, schools, and community partners to deliver high-quality services and ensure programs operate efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with district goals. The Operations and Logistics Manager coordinates facilities operations, custodial services, maintenance logistics, and small capital projects across District facilities. This position supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of District buildings by applying knowledge of facility systems, construction coordination, and custodial operations to address operational needs. The role manages the daily coordination of operational work through oversight of work order systems, preventive maintenance programs, facility inspections, and custodial logistics. Responsibilities include assessing facility conditions, coordinating corrective actions, maintaining facility records and asset information, and directing maintenance, custodial, and contractor resources to support multiple sites. The Operations and Logistics Manager also assists with planning and coordinating small construction and renovation projects, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and project documentation. The position works closely with school leadership, Facilities staff, contractors, and other District departments to ensure operational services and projects are delivered effectively. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and regular site visits to District facilities to support operational needs while ensuring compliance with District standards, safety practices, and procedures.   • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional experience in program management, operations, administration, or a related professional field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience in supervising staff, leading project teams and /or managing programs or initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership and Implementation Lead and manage district-level programs, services, or initiatives aligned with departmental and district strategic priorities.
  • Translate district and departmental goals into operational plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes to ensure successful implementation.
  • Operational Management Oversee daily operations of assigned programs or services to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures, systems, and practices that support effective program management.
  • Staff Leadership and Team Development Supervise, coach, and support assigned staff or project teams; establish clear expectations, monitor performance, and promote professional growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management Ensure program operations comply with district policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations; maintain required documentation and reporting systems.
  • Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement Monitor program performance through data collection, analysis, and reporting; identify trends and implement improvements to strengthen outcomes.
  • Project and Resource Management Plan, coordinate, and manage projects, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring responsible stewardship of program resources and budgets.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain collaborative relationships with district departments, schools, and community partners to support coordinated service delivery.
  • Communication and Organizational Leadership Communicate program expectations, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders while modeling professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to the district’s mission.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and district priorities.

Benefits

  • Employees in this category will also receive the following for the 2025-2026 school year: Non-Recurring Pay: 8% of base salary in Non-Recurring Pay (distributed as 4% on November paycheck and 4% on May paycheck).
