About The Position
The student lab assistant will assist the clinical, lab and simulation coordinator in organizing and maintaining the nursing simulation and skills labs. Tuesday mornings to assist in setting up labs Wednesdays, 11A-1P Fridays, after 2PM to assist in cleaning up the labs.
Requirements
- Current in-program student
- No experience necessary
- Be in good academic standing and able to maintain nursing program GPA requirements
- Good computer, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Able to lift 25 pounds
Responsibilities
- Setting up for undergraduate and graduate skill labs
- Returning supplies and equipment to storage
- Inventorying nursing lab supplies
- Stowing away new supplies and equipment
- Notifying coordinator of any equipment or supply problems
- Making student PPE kits and other necessary items for clinical
- Other duties as assigned
