About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is excited to hire a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a school nurse position for the 2025–2026 school year in Westmont, Illinois ! Position Details Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday Location: Holmes Primary School, grades preschool through second Start Date: ASAP Service Area: Student health services, medication administration, health education, emergency care, and collaboration with school staff
Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- IL PEL with School Nurse endorsement (preferred)
- School nurse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide general health services and emergency care to students
- Administer medications and maintain accurate student health records
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with students, staff, and parents
- Collaborate with school teams to support student health and safety
- Maintain organization of health logistics across diverse age groups
