About The Position
The School Nurse promotes student health and wellness, manages health-related issues within the school, and ensures compliance with state and district health policies. The nurse provides direct care to students and staff, develops health plans for those with chronic conditions, and contributes to creating a safe and healthy learning environment.
Requirements
- Must hold an active RN license
- Must have 2 years licensed nursing experience (3 years preferred)
- Must have current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Must have current certification in scoliosis, hearing, vision, and growth (height and weight) screenings
Nice To Haves
- Must have 3 years preferred licensed nursing experience
