About The Position
We are currently hiring LPNs to provide 1:1 care for a student in a school setting. This role includes monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and ensuring your students safety throughout the school day. Nurses may also assist with G-tube or feeding tube care, diabetes management, and other specialized medical needs. You will work closely with school staff, families, and our clinical team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support each student’s health and well-being.
Requirements
- LPN License issued by NYS
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Pediatric or School Nursing experience Required
- Ability to work independently in a school setting
- Communicate with families , school staff , and healthcare providers
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care duties and treatments as per care plan.
- Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
- Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
- Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.
- Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand/work for extended periods
- Additional responsibilities as required.
