About The Position
BrightStar Care of Westfield is seeking one or two compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student with a seizure disorder during the school day. We are seeking an RN with strong pediatric or school nursing experience who is passionate about supporting a child’s safety, comfort, and success in the classroom. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey RN license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- CPR/BLS (ACLS a plus)
- Strong commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or school nursing background preferred
- BSN from an accredited program
- Residing in or near Union County for convenient commute
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive 1:1 care for a student with a seizure disorder
- Monitor and document the student’s condition
- Communicate effectively with school staff and care team
- Maintain accurate clinical records and regulatory compliance
