About The Position

The School LVN/LPN will provide nursing care and health support services to students within a school setting. This position may include 1:1 student care, assisting in the school health office, and floating between school sites as needed . The nurse will work closely with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students while supporting their medical and educational needs. Contract Details Contract Dates: ASAP – 06/05/2026 Schedule: Monday – Friday Daily Hours: 7.5 hours per day Weekly Billable Hours: 37.5 Work Setting: School-based environment

Requirements

Active California LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) License
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with school staff

Nice To Haves

Experience working in school nursing, pediatrics, or student health settings preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to students , including 1:1 support for students with medical needs.
Monitor and manage student health conditions during the school day.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with school health policies.
Assist in the school nurse’s office with student assessments and health concerns.
Maintain student health records and documentation.
Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Work collaboratively with school nurses, teachers, administrators, and parents to support student health and safety.
Communicate student health updates to appropriate school staff as needed.
Follow school district health protocols and state regulations .
Maintain accurate documentation of all health services provided.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with student health records.
