About The Position

Sentara Health Plans is hiring a School Liaison in Region 7, Southwest (Bland County, Buchanan County, Bristol, Carroll County, Dickenson County, Galax, Giles County, Grayson County, Lee County, Norton, Pulaski County, Radford, Russell County, Scott County, Smyth County, Tazewell County, Washington County, Wise County, Wythe County, VA)! Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours) Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F Location: This position is remote in the Region 7, Southwest (Bland County, Buchanan County, Bristol, Carroll County, Dickenson County, Galax, Giles County, Grayson County, Lee County, Norton, Pulaski County, Radford, Russell County, Scott County, Smyth County, Tazewell County, Washington County, Wise County, Wythe County, VA). Will need to travel to schools or community/wellness events in the Region 7, Southwest region approx. 3x a month. Job responsibilities: The School Liaison Program was designed to create a link between Virginia school systems and Sentara in an effort to better the communities where Sentara operates. From vaccine clinics, providing volunteers at community events and educating about various online behavioral health tools, the school liaisons are in-touch with communities’ needs to help Sentara serve them better. Requirements

MLD - Master's Level Degree- Education REQUIRED
MLD - Master's Level Degree- Social Work REQUIRED
MLD - Master's Level Degree -Psychology REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

Experience working for a school or with schools is preferred
Behavioral experience is preferred
