About The Position
School Health Professional (1:1 Nurse) Needed Location: Allen Brook School Allen Brook School has an opening for a School Health Professional (1:1 Nurse) to work in collaboration with the School Nurse and education team in supporting the health needs of an individual student. A potential candidate will be an advocate of inclusive education, a problem-solver, strong collaborator, and a positive team member. Ability to promote child health safety and selfawareness to foster independence is a must. Candidates must have a current unrestricted Vermont Nursing License and appropriate experience. This is a school year position. This position would be contracted for 6.5 hrs a day. The hourly range is $36.90 - $40.72 based on education and experience. Please note that lifting is a requirement of this job. Preferred candidates will: Support a student with complex medical needs Provide health appraisal, counseling, and emergency services, as needed Maintain safe and effective nursing care.
