About The Position

San Dieguito Union High School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long-Term Substitute School Counselor . The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive counseling services to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and career development needs. This includes delivering individual and group counseling, supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral concerns, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Counseling
• Resume
• Letter of Introduction (Must be current and relative to the position you are applying to)
• Credential Copy (Copies of credentials must be current screenshots of the credential document details page from the CTC website that shows your name, document name, status, subjects, authorizations, and expiration date. Certificates will not be accepted. )
• Recommendation Letters (Three current letters dated within the last two years)
