About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is seeking dependable Unarmed Security Officers for permanent overnight assignments at a school campus in Reading, PA. The role involves working in a professional, low-traffic environment with consistent scheduling. Officers must be flexible and able to work at either of the client's two locations as needed. This is a full-time opportunity, requiring 30+ hours per week, with both weekday and weekend availability.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and reliable attendance
• Must be able to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of in-person orientation required

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Conduct routine foot and mobile patrols
• Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions
• Document daily activity and incidents using Belfry software
• Enforce post orders and site procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site contacts
