About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring dependable officers for permanent overnight assignments in a professional, low-traffic environment with consistent scheduling in Reading, PA. This client operates two locations, and officers must be flexible and able to work at either location as needed. The role offers full-time opportunities (30+ hours/week) and involves maintaining a professional and visible security presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, documenting activity, and enforcing post orders.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and reliable attendance
  • Must be able to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Completion of in-person orientation required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional and visible security presence
  • Conduct routine foot and mobile patrols
  • Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions
  • Document daily activity and incidents using Belfry software
  • Enforce post orders and site procedures
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and site contacts
