About The Position

Join our team as a full-time School-Based Sealant Program (SBSP) Lead! The School Based Sealant Program Lead coordinates and leads our preventive oral health education and services in Twin Cities elementary schools. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and delivering all aspects of the School Based Sealant Program events. The SBSP Lead organizes and works closely with the team of health educators and hygienists at events. This position reports to the Director of Community Programs. Requirements

  • Prior experience in working with children, coordinating events and making presentations.
  • Strong written, verbal and public speaking communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to coordinate details and people.
  • MN driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community health promotion and teaching good health habits desired.
  • Spanish language proficiency desired

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead for on-site school-based sealant program, coordinating all aspects of planning and delivering events.
  • Communicate closely with school contact and staff to plan and coordinate events.
  • Deliver classroom presentations on good oral health habits at schools and community outreach locations.
  • Ensure documentation related to participants is captured appropriately, including consent forms, screening results, and health records.
  • Manage follow up communication with parents regarding oral health concerns and assist in coordinating clinic appointments to ensure follow-up care is received.
  • Support outreach and other oral health education efforts as needed.
