School-Based Registered Dietitian - Head Start Program (Spanish Bilingual Preferred)

Position Overview: Manage food allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs by performing thorough nutrition assessments and creating individualized meal accommodation plans for Head Start students. Review Head Start/Early Head Start health files for regulatory compliance and conduct classroom meal service observations to ensure nutritional standards are met. Design and deliver nutrition counseling and specialized trainings for program parents and staff to promote healthy eating habits and program-wide wellness. Partner with food services and district staff to coordinate meal planning, ensuring all menus meet the nutritional requirements of the program.
Requirements
- Current Registered Dietitian Certification by the Commission of Dietetic Registration
- 1+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian

- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations
- Bilingual skills in Spanish to effectively counsel and train a diverse community of parents and staff
