School Based BCBA
About The Position
Dragonfly Cares is a mission-driven organization committed to helping children with autism and developmental differences thrive. Our team delivers high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy where it's needed most - in homes, schools, and communities across Long Island. Dragonfly Cares is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team. This role offers a consistent 30-hour weekly schedule, ideal for BCBAs who want meaningful school-based work, stability, and work-life balance - with the option to pick up additional cases if desired. Requirements
- Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Active BCBA certification; LBA required or in process
- Minimum 1 year BCBA experience (school-based preferred)
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Oversee and adjust ABA interventions to ensure student progress
- Provide training and consultation to school staff on ABA best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Supervise and support Behavioral Technicians/RBTs
