About The Position
We are seeking a Full-Time Lead School Age Summer Camp Teacher to lead and engage children ages 7–10 in a dynamic summer camp program. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys planning activities, building relationships with children, and creating a fun, safe, and structured environment. The position is a full-time summer role with an opportunity to transition into a continued role during the school year.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain: Food Handler’s Permit
- Must have or be willing to obtain: First Aid & CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement a structured summer camp curriculum
- Plan and facilitate engaging group activities and experiences
- Actively supervise and interact with children ages 7–10
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Supervise and manage a group of children during off-site field trips (twice per week)
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic classroom environment
