About The Position

NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Scheduling Supervisor to join our Circular Products (CP) team! The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the department production schedule and Production Planners to ensure job orders are started and delivered on time. This is an onsite opportunity based in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or other Business program
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered
  • Understanding and working knowledge of a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding and working knowledge of business goals & achieving financial targets
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in MRP and ERP systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution
  • Self-directed to perform work with minimal supervisory oversight

Responsibilities

  • Develop department schedule including flow through operational work departments
  • Work with Production Planners at both locations to ensure required jobs are complete for Circular Products
  • Work closely with supply chain to ensure the system demand is aligned with job requirements
  • Identify and correct misalignment in operational capacity
  • Coordinate ECN (Engineering Change Notices) into the schedule
  • Define problem resolutions and process improvements
  • Drive alignment and improvement of shop floor transaction discipline
  • Incorporate planning decisions to reduce material and product variability
  • Create and implement standard work along with process improvements for creating and updating department schedules
