This Position reports to: Operations Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Bartlesville, OK. #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: Working with product management to influence design decisions, with procurement to better align supply and sourcing strategies, and with demand planners to influence activities that can improve profit or customer service, or reduce inventory Owner of the site supply planning process. Provides visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Hub/PG S&OP process. Provides feedback into S&OP process of site’s ability to support the demand plan Owns the inventory or NWC check book for the local unit. Establishes and maintains an inventory management processes including raw materials, WIP, finished goods in line with Group/Division/Business Unit instructions. Is accountable for inventory within the site, and driving inventory optimization projects within the site Run a short-term planning process or S&OE process, connecting planning with execution. Coordinate an appropriate response to unplanned events. Support the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing and procurement. Leads/contributes to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. Uses lean 6 sigma tools whenever applicable. Collaborate with other units in the end-to-end supply chain Leads local planning function and ensures (with HR Manager support) that local planning teams are properly organized, staffed, and skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee. Contributing to the short-term planning process, and linking the operations plan to the short-term production schedule Identifying root causes for deviation from the production plan and implementing initiatives to improve this and ensuring that planning bills of materials are up to date, and generating material plans based on supply plans Definition of the material planning strategies and PFEP, Regular review and update of the Production and Material planning parameters, Production orders scheduling/balancing, E2E order fulfilment control/coordination: from order booking and confirmation to planning, scheduling, control, fulfilment and customer care: customer/Sales Unit alignment with latest/revised delivery plans Our Team Dynamics Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree and/or 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing (Scheduling, working as Planner/Scheduler, etc) is required.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP, Microsoft products
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma Tools
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

Responsibilities
