About The Position

At No Place Like Home Senior Services, care does not start when the caregiver walks through the door. It starts with the schedule. This is a Scheduling Coordinator role focused on home care scheduling, not just filling shifts. It is about making sure every client receives care when they expect it and every caregiver is set up to succeed. You are the connector, the problem solver, and the one who keeps everything steady when things get unpredictable. When you do this role well, families feel peace of mind, caregivers feel supported, and the agency runs better because of you.

Requirements

  • Prior home care scheduling experience
  • Experience in home care scheduling, staffing coordination, or healthcare dispatch
  • Strong working knowledge of scheduling systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts without dropping the ball
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem solving skills
  • Clear and professional communication style
  • Team oriented mindset
  • Flexibility as care does not always happen between 9 and 5
  • Availability to assist after hours when needed
  • Ability to begin training right away
  • Take ownership
  • Anticipate problems before they happen
  • Care about getting it right for both the client and the caregiver

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bilingual English Spanish
  • Experience with Caresmartz360

Responsibilities

  • Own the schedule completely
  • Build and manage schedules at least two weeks in advance while handling daily changes in real time
  • Make the right matches
  • Pair caregivers and clients based on skill, personality, location, and consistency, not just availability
  • Handle the unexpected with confidence
  • Manage call outs, emergencies, and last minute needs quickly and effectively
  • Communicate clearly and consistently
  • Keep caregivers, clients, and the office informed so no one is left guessing
  • Set caregivers up for success
  • Ensure they have the right information and expectations before each shift
  • Support the bigger picture
  • Assist with onboarding, retention insights, and coordination across the team
