About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. The Scheduler will coordinate all schedules for deliveries and pick-ups of Company property to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Company’s fleet. This is a logistics-industry position, and the candidate should have strong computer and data entry skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or three to five years of related experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to learn and master new technologies to aid in scheduling.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales and operations departments.
  • Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client needs.
  • Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory; uses judgment to anticipate demand for additional labor in future.
  • Ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders.
  • Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of units, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
  • Maintains master distribution schedule; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays in a timely manner.
  • Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, operations, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, operations, and other related departments as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties, as required.
