Please note this position will require you to switch between both our Fort Worth and Richardson office depending on staffing needs SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Responsible for performing a variety of duties. This position requires communication between the Administrator, patient’s families, nurses, and staffers. This position requires an individual to be multi-tasked, have computer skills, great communication skills, and be efficient. This position comes with a generous bonus program.

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience in health care arena a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Scheduling: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities

Scheduling
Reporting and documenting missed shifts – missed shift log
Posting nurses notes
Maintain clients’ schedules for all cases/ Managing client’s schedules and hours allotted per authorization period
Answering phones
Calling nurses for availability
Mail nurse & family schedules
Covering any missed shifts
Discuss schedules and maintain open communication with client and nurses on all schedules
Calendar build for each client
Input all on-call log info into system
Update Director of Operations & HR, Administrator and Nurse Recruiter of any changes with the nurses
Keep an updated log of schedules and hours for each week including on-call log
Organize and separate clinical documentation
Must answer on call phone as needed - during office after hours including weekends
Check office mail and distribute as needed
Reviewing and controlling field personnel overtime
Nurse of the Month (work closely with Nurse Recruiter and Administrator on the selection process)
Hiring of field personnel including pay negotiation, interviewing and screening applicants
Performs other duties as required
Maintains On-Call Staffing book
Complete missed shift logs - monthly
Communicate and gather ideas from Director of Nursing and Branch Manager regarding staffing issues, work as a TEAM
Work closely with Director of Nursing with any new referrals in staffing and communicating with the family, can take PT intake
Working with RN Case Manager on scheduling nurses for check-offs
Maintains high-level of confidentiality with client and staff protected/personal information
Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals
Facilitates the communications system for clients and staff which may include: mail distribution, phone system, memo’s, answers incoming calls, documents and disseminates appropriate messages
