About The Position

Overview Central Maine Healthcare Orthopedics is seeking a Full Time, Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! Position Summary: Assume primary responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the many complex schedules that are required and support the department in other ways as needed. Requirements

  • Minimum of Associates Degree, Bachelors preferred.
  • 7-10 years of office/clerical work experience.
  • Previous experience working in health care setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Graduate Medical Education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and integrate all aspects of the monthly rotation schedules.
  • Communicates and confirms monthly schedules with outside attendings to organize and create schedules.
  • Must utilize excellent communication skills to develop and maintain rapport with physician partners.
  • Integrate time/day/procedure-specific requirements/requests of physicians.
  • Administrative contact for all credentialing and re-credentialing requests.
  • Monitor all physician licenses, and notify staff when necessary, to ensure all renewals are timely.
  • Continually work to develop improved systems for quality and efficiency.
