About The Position

Scheduling Assistant PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Scheduling Assistant to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. This role assists our Commercial scheduling teams with daily tasks to help ensure our efficient and economical support of Commercial trading activity.

Requirements

Degree in Business or related discipline.
Experience working in an environment interacting with internal and external contacts.
Experience with MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Must possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess good organizational skills and be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, internally and externally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently and assume ownership of assigned tasks.
This position is on site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

Validating and maintaining certain scheduling data in barge and ship tracking software and spreadsheets.
Tracking and paying marine invoices for barging and ships.
Various ad hoc marine scheduling tasks as prescribed by Director, Marine.
