About The Position

Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal seeks a Scheduling Assistant to be part of an energetic, collaborative, and innovative team. This position will report to the Director of Scheduling. Candidates must have excellent organization and time-management skills.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Director of Scheduling in managing and maintaining the scheduling database for the Borough President, as well as other Senior Staff as needed.
  • Performs administrative and scheduling tasks as directed by the Director of Scheduling, including office management responsibilities
  • Monitors general Scheduling email inbox
  • Opens and sorts mail sent to Borough President and distributes to appropriate staff
  • Provides reception coverage, as needed
