About The Position

Schedules appointments for patients by telephone or in person by performing the following duties. Adheres to Simply The Best Standards of Performance. Schedules appointments and enters appointment dates and times into a computerized scheduler or appointment book. Records when appointments have been filled or canceled. Pre-registered patients. Greets and directs patients, salespeople and visitors. Answers incoming calls, determines the purpose of the call and either response to the inquiry or forwards the call to appropriate personnel. Assists with other medical office needs, including registering patients and receiving payments for services provided. Seeks and assists other staff members with tasks if time allows.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
