The Scheduler is responsible for creating, delivering, and maintaining the production schedule and distributing plans to Operations Management. This role involves executing, tracking, and maintaining the advanced resource planning (ARP) process to ensure all scheduled jobs are ready for production and completed within prescribed time constraints. The Scheduler must maintain job progress accuracy, identify gaps between the production schedule and the shop floor reality, and update the schedule in real-time. A key objective is to ensure orders move through the operations area and are delivered on-time to meet customer delivery dates. The Scheduler will also use feedback from past performance to improve project scheduling and planning, aiming to increase accuracy and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
