About The Position

The Scheduler at LifeCare Hospitals of North Texas plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of the nursing staffing plan. This position is responsible for coordinating with nursing staff to identify staffing needs, optimize staff utilization, and minimize overtime labor costs, ultimately contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years’ experience and proficiency working in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with nursing staff and identifying staffing needs.
• Ability to optimize staff utilization and minimize overtime labor costs.

Nice To Haves

• Six to twelve months of prior staffing experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
• Experience with Paycom Scheduling software.
• Familiarity with healthcare staffing plans and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing staffing schedules.
