About The Position

Scheduler Student Transportation of America, doing business as Diversified Transportation, is actively seeking a Scheduler to join our team in Winnemucca, Nevada. This role is responsible for coordinating daily driver, equipment, and route schedules to ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable transportation services. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in scheduling, logistics, dispatching, or operations support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in transportation or service-based scheduling environments preferred
  • Experience with HASTUS or similar scheduling software considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Create, assign, modify and maintain daily schedules for drivers, equipment, routes and work shifts
  • Coordinate scheduling activities across operations, training and human resources
  • Adjust schedules to support daily operations, peak periods, holidays, special events and construction
  • Analyze personnel availability, service requirements, and operational data optimize schedules for time and cost efficiency
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records, reports, and documentation using scheduling systems
  • Identify and resolve routing or scheduling challenges in collaboration with operations teams
  • Ensure scheduling activities comply with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Support client change requests as needed
