Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Understanding and use of Electronic Health Record (EMR).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
Certified Scheduling Technician (CST).
1+ years’ experience in a hospital or physician practice setting.

Responsibilities

Arranges appointments for surgical and non-surgical procedures along with pre-surgical testing for various specialties.
Schedules surgeries and procedures for all specialties.
Coordinates all required testing and procedures.
Ensures all required pre-testing, patient information, and consents have been obtained and are on-site prior to the patient’s admission to the hospital.
Acts as a liaison with patients, referrals, general practitioners, health care professionals, and patients’ family members in a compassionate and kind manner.
