The Scheduler schedules patient testing/procedures/admissions; obtains pre-cert/authorization numbers and enters in the scheduling or registration system; obtains and enters accurate insurance information; answers incoming phone calls. Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years of directly related experience may be substituted for the required education.
  • Computer experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
  • Medical terminology, billing, and/or collection experience preferred.
