Position Purpose: This primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and schedule external appointments participants according to participant needs and care plan designed by the interdisciplinary team. Will work closely with the transportation department, participants, caregivers, and center staff. What you will do: Maintain accurate participant schedules, including service details as per care plans. Notify managers of scheduling changes requiring a physician's order. Record scheduling updates daily and respond promptly to participant referrals. Coordinate with all departments involved in participant appointments. Ensure nursing completes participant education before appointments. Use electronic scheduling systems. Track training and medical clearances for agency personnel. Review agency invoices for accuracy and forward for approval. Create EPIC authorizations and transportation appointments. Remind participants/caregivers of appointments. In the absence of the manager, review agency invoices for accuracy of billed agency hours and forwards onto the Nursing leader for approval, if applicable.
