Summary: Performs an integral role with the care team for coordination of complex chemotherapy and cancer treatment scheduling. Manages all aspects of scheduling of multi-day and multi-week treatment cycle schedules for high acuity patients. Responsible for scheduling treatment including infusion treatments, transfusion, labs, surgery, and radiation treatment for oncology patients. Demonstrates and conveys a cheerful and favorable disposition during stressful patient care delivery for a positive patient experience. 8:00am - 4:30pm; no weekends
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- One (1) year scheduling experience in a hospital or clinic with complex scheduling algorithms.
Nice To Haves
- Oncology related scheduling experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs.
- Communicates with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure availability of facilities and staff.
