The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) seeks a Scenic River Intern to assist with the OEC's Scenic River work. The Intern will work with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Central Ohio to assist in holding Stream Quality Monitoring (SQM) trainings, presenting at SQM / Scenic Rivers public programming, collecting data on Scenic Rivers, and performing invasive species management as needed. The internship will last approximately 10 weeks starting between April 20, 2026 and May 4, 2026. The intern will report to the SQM Coordinator Effie Palassis and will work out of the ODNR office located in Columbus, OH (2045 Morse Road, Building H-3, Columbus OH 43229).
