The company is relentless in its pursuit of solving customer's greatest problems to ensure they go home safe each day. This role is for an Assembler at their Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand drawings with complex configurations, work instructions and test procedures.
  • Ability to take shared responsibility for Quality.
  • Ability to understand standard units of measure.
  • Ability to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
  • Ability to perform standard software operations including SAP.
  • Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to use power and hand tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to actively participate in problem solving & continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ability to consistently perform work within the established cycle times.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year previous manufacturing or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly of component parts and related sub-assemblies according to drawings and customer specifications.
  • Will work with various test machines, high pressure air, and various hand and power tools, torque wrenches and vises.
  • Performs tests using testing apparatuses, troubleshoots, visually inspects, and repairs sub-assemblies and component parts as needed.
  • Completes and maintains relevant paperwork and inputs information in computer system.
  • Packages material for shipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining production goals through linearity / productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.
  • Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and the company’s objective is required.
