As a Scaled Insights Associate at IAS, you will be part of a highly performant team that is a center of innovation for the company and a major contributor to the company's core products. The Scaled Insights Associate works on challenging technical problems that cut across the entire Scaled Insights function. This includes helping to develop and deploy reusable assets such as ML/DL models, at scale, to enable insight discovery across IAS’s product portfolio. These assets function to create value for customers and IAS and to increase the thought leadership perception of IAS. The ideal candidate has a track record of delivering deep learning-based models at scale, enjoys working with cross-functional commercial and technical partners to deliver scaled insights solutions within tight timelines, and brings innovative solutions to complex problems, always with a burning desire to improve the status quo. You will leverage your research and data analytics skills to translate business questions from internal stakeholders and external customers into research projects, deliver actionable insights and reusable scaled insight materials that support ongoing insight needs across the organization and to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Recent college graduate to 1 year of experience with research and data analysis experience
  • An understanding of research methods and best practices, including experience with Generative AI with the ability to provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent storyteller with the ability to transform quantitative data into engaging fact based, insight driven stories with actionable next steps.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a variety of team environments including in person, dispersed and hybrid team environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides strongly preferred
  • Experience with data analytics is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of SQL, Looker, Databricks, Python and Tableau is an important plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the generation of Scaled Insights reporting, templates and frameworks that align with advertiser and agency customer needs.
  • Learn IAS data and ecosystems and apply governance and best practices to ensure reliable scaled outputs can be produced.
  • Apply governance and best practices to tasks, ensuring outputs can be reduced. Focus primarily on internal support, but contribute to scalable insights that benefit multiple stakeholders.
  • Use machine learning techniques such as correlation analysis and cluster analysis and modelling techniques to develop scenarios and help customers make advertising choices.
  • Gather and manipulate proprietary platform data - often extremely dirty data - using best-in-class tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineering and other business partners to explore new sources of data, improve operational efficiency, and increase scalability of insights
  • Manage insights projects end-to-end, including research framework design, analysis of results, report development and presentation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality deliverables such as dashboards or other reports, assist in the development of communication strategies and support the creation of marketing campaigns to promote key research findings
  • Employ online research and data visualization tools and platforms such as eMarketer, Databricks, and Looker.
