About The Position

The Scale Operator in Whole Pack prepares and maintains machine operation during the production process.

Requirements

• High Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of experience and/or training; or the combination equivalent of both education and experience.
• For the individual to be successful in this department, they must possess the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members (English).
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must possess basic computer skills as well as have a strong attention to detail.
• The individual must be able to perform all required duties under minimal supervision.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Understanding personal computer applications and tools.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
• Must have a valid driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine while adhering to any safety measures that the machine may require
• Responsible for producing product according to schedule and customer needs
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns
• Additional duties may be assigned at the request by the Supervisors.
