Working as a member of a team or as an individual, performs and has primary responsibility for various types of welding center operations in multiple work centers as required, including, but not limited to MIG, spot (resistance), robotic, silicon bronze (MIG), and manual welders, to produce quality parts per the Challenge Manufacturing Quality Standards, production schedule and engineering specifications at the prescribed cycle time (rate). Performs necessary quality checks, records information in PLEX (Enterprise Resource Planning system -ERP), and performs general utility work to meet work schedule. When and Where: This will be a 1st Shift / 6:00AM-2:30PM M-F position located at our Plant in Richmond, KY . Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests. What You Need to Have: Must be 18 years of age or older Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications. High School Diploma or GED (preferred) Experience: Up to 90 days training required One (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
