About The Position

Prepare weigh tickets and submit to shipping/customer service. Generate truck loading tickets for bulk trucks and light weight and re-weigh all trucks after being loaded. Ensure shipments that require certificate of analysis receive them. Maintenance scales, documentation for licenses, and daily cash sales documentation.

Requirements

  • Must be physically able to perform work assigned.
  • Must be physically capable of accessing all plant locations.
  • Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.
  • Will be working in an office, mining, and minerals processing environment.
  • The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Mineral Particles.
  • The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
  • Ability to consistently lift over 50 pounds as needed.
  • High School Diploma, GED Equivalent, or demonstrated skills or ability.
  • A minimum of one year of previous heavy manufacturing and/or mining experience is highly preferred.
  • Previous heavy equipment experience is desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training or AA degree in technical related field is desired.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Receive customer orders
  • Prepare truck bill of ladings
  • Produce, compile and file truck loading sheets
  • Manage bank deposits and cash sales
  • Attend safety meetings
  • Enforce all company, local, state and federal safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain Company and Federal House Keeping Standards
  • Implement all elements of the quality manual
  • Maintain validity of documentation affecting the positions listed above
  • Maintain the validity of all procedures affecting the positions listed above
  • Be capable of performing back-up duties as assigned
  • Provide on-the-job training, as assigned
  • Verify on-the-job training, as assigned
  • Ensure a SQF workplace and follow regulatory compliance with Federal FDA - Food Modernization Safety Act (CFR Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Part 507)
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety, as well as SQF initiatives and awareness programs
  • Be a leader and promoter of employee safety and SQF culture
  • Following completion of SQF training, demonstrate understanding of expected safety, SQF performance and Food Safety Culture
  • Complete periodic SQF training(s)
  • Each site location will ensure training is conducted for new employees and continued for existing employees
  • Employees will actively participate in audits for regulatory, safety, SQF and environmental compliance at the site
  • Perform other duties as assigned
