About The Position

Responsibilities of the scale operator located at the Shreveport Mill and MRF
are as follows:

1. Keying of all loads received into the mill for Recycling/MRF, good
communication with drivers.
2. Watching camera to make sure docks are full at all times and a truck
waiting to pull in as one pulls out.
3. Logging the drivers/loads on the receiving log for Mill and MRF
4. Checking drivers in and filling out drop tickets for trailers to be dropped
on Lot B
5. Keep traffic flow for inbound and outbound loads under control as best as
possible
6. Telephone Communication with Shreveport Office (for issues with release
numbers, rejections, etc.)
7. Hand writing a docket and notifying MRF when driver arrives to pick-up an
outbound load
8. Radio Communication with the Waste Yard and MRF
9. Notifying shipping when driver arrives with a load of chemical
10. Maintaining scale house cleanliness and supplies
