Real Alloy in Steele, AL has a great opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant who specalizes in data entry and inventory control. This position will be working in our Truck Scale House. Candidate must be willing to train out of state for at least 1-2 weeks.

Requirements

• Associate degree required or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a customer service role, admin role; transportation industry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a Truck Scale house with little supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-task.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical and challenge driven
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products. Experience with Oracle preferred
• Proven ability to function successfully with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Scale Trucks in and out
• Gather paperwork from internal & external customers and manually enter into the system
• Coordinate inbound and outbound load scheduling
• Support quality documents and compliance for forms and reporting
• Provide Customer Service to internal and external customers
• Answering phone calls, communicating via CB radio, faxing, copying and filing in a timely manner
• Enter and update inbound/outbound loads in BEST Logistics system manually.
• Prepare, reconcile, and send weekly and monthly reports to customers and management when needed
