Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Computer proficient and strong communication skills required.
  • Ability to complete and successfully pass Operator Qualification training.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor, or in a team environment, while supporting teams for a common goal and/or solution.
  • Must be willing to be on call as needed.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must reside in or relocate to central Wyoming.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience with pipeline operations.
  • Experience SCADA system.
  • Pipeline Control Center experience.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with the Supervisor on status of in-process objectives and report status to Control Center Supervisor.
  • Complete all required documentation concerning SCADA additions/deletions on time and accurately.
  • Integrate new and/or modify existing pipeline systems and stations using SCADA software.
  • Schedule, perform and document SCADA additions/deletions.
  • Configure SCADA HMI, ensuring compliance with API 1165.
  • Configure SCADA software system servers and communication protocols.
  • Timely integration of data to Historical Archiver, Leak Detection System and Controllers compliance software.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to SCADA system malfunctions, network connectivity, data inconsistency and alarm failures.
  • Assist with monthly alarm reviews, compliance reviews and documentation.
