About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SBA Loan Closing Specialist to support a high-volume lending environment on a contract basis. This role is responsible for managing SBA 7(a) loan transactions from final approval through funding, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This is a hands-on, end-to-end closing position that integrates documentation, coordination, and funding responsibilities into one streamlined function. The role plays a critical part in driving loan transactions to completion while maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting SBA 7(a) loan closings in a lending or financial services environment
• Demonstrated experience across loan documentation, processing workflows, and closing execution
• Strong working knowledge of SBA lending guidelines and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with LaserPro or comparable loan documentation platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Responsibilities

• Assume full ownership of SBA 7(a) loan closings following credit approval
• Coordinate all closing activities with borrowers, title companies, escrow agents, and insurance providers
• Collect, review, and validate all required closing documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
• Prepare loan documents using LaserPro or similar systems
• Facilitate document execution through notaries and third-party vendors
• Partner with internal teams, including accounting, to ensure accurate and timely funding disbursements
• Oversee final closing steps, including wire coordination and transaction completion
• Track multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and funding timelines are met
