Star Stone is looking to hire full-time General Laborers and Saw Technicians for our Saw Shop . Do you love working with your hands? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SAW SHOP SAW TECH As a full-time general laborer, you're comfortable working around heavy machinery, and enjoy big tools. You'll assist our Saw Techs and learn to cut and craft stone using saws and hand tools, to make beautiful landscaping and building materials. You'll perform cleanup and stack pallets of stone. As you stay with the company, you'll advance to Saw Tech, and learn to maintain and eventually repair equipment in our shop. You'll learn to optimize stone usage to create the highest value considering labor and stone usage. You assist coworkers in any assigned task with an upbeat attitude and a smile. You feel great satisfaction through seeing how much you help keep our operations running smoothly.

Requirements

Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, such as heavy lifting (comfortably lift 80 lbs.), standing for extended periods of time
Ability to pass drug screening
Comfortable working around heavy machinery, fully outfitted in PPE, gloves, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, goggles, and rubber apron
Personality and attitude are more important than experience

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in construction, masonry, landscaping, heavy labor or stone cutting preferred, but not required
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
